Strawberry sweetened gin, mixed with slightly sparkling moscato and a hint of rosemary. This Strawberry and Rosemary Gin Fizz was made for Friday afternoons, sat in the garden, watching the sun set.
Carefully hull the straberries and then cut them in half.
Place the strawberries and rosemary into a plastic tupperware container, sprinkle over the sugar and then pour over the gin/vodka.
Clip on a lid and place the container in the fridge for 24 hours.
Strain the gin/vodka and then pour into a large jug of ice.
Top up with the moscato and then serve garnished with a strawberry and a sprig of rosemary.
Notes
I like to use moscato as it gives a great additional sweetness. However if you are a fan of a drier cocktail then you can use prosecco. For a cocktail lighter in alcohol, replace the wine with lemonade or soda water
