Open-faced, hot turkey sandwiches are the ultimate leftovers dinner!!! Perfect for those days after Thanksgiving or Christmas when you have lots of leftover turkey and no inclination to cook. These are delicious and comforting. Plus, you can add any extras that you like.

Ingredients
½cupgravy- see note 1
6slicesturkey meat- see note 2
2slicesbread- see note 3
Instructions
Pour the gravy into a skillet and heat it until it is bubbling.½ cup gravy
Reduce the heat to low and add the turkey. Heat gently until the meat is hot.6 slices turkey meat
Toast the bread. You can do this in the oven, under the broiler, or in an electric toaster or toaster oven. This step is optional, but I like the crunch it gives.2 slices bread
Add any additional ingredients (see note 4) to the bread.
Spoon on the turkey and then pour over the gravy.
Notes
Any leftover gravy is delicious. Or make some especially using my easy recipes. You can use brown or white gravy.
Any bread will work. Use what you have, or use leftover bread rolls.
The perfect way to use up your leftover turkey. But you can buy sliced turkey from the deli if you don't have any leftovers. You can use slices of turkey, shredded turkey, or chunks.
You can add any leftovers from the holiday table to the toast. Just heat them in the microwave and spoon them onto the toast. Or spread them over and broil until warm and crispy. See main post for more details.
