Mozzarella, Basil, Sundried Tomato and Olive Skewers

These Mozzarella, Basil, Sundried Tomato and Olive Skewers are a delicious Mediterranean inspired appetizer recipe. Like a mini caprese salad on a stick! They are beautiful, and easy to assemble, making them the perfect finger food for parties.

Ingredients

  • 24 mini mozarella balls
  • 24 basil leaves
  • 24 small sun-dried tomato slices
  • 12 black olives (pitted)
  • 24 toothpicks

Instructions

  • Wrap a basil leave around a baby mozzarella ball and thread it carefully onto a toothpick. Repeat with the remaining 23.
  • Add a sun-dried tomato slice to each toothpick.
  • Cut the black olives in half and thread a half onto each toothpick.
  • Optional drizzle with extra virgin olive oil before serving.
